Introducing Slack Integration

We're excited to release our Slack integration today.

Your teams can now receive alerts in a dedicated slack channel for all your deployments across all services. Just go to Account settings > Integrations page to connect your slack workspace.

Deployment alerts:

To create services, you must have configured a specific branch of a Github repo to trigger automatic deployments (Learn more). Every time your team pushes new commits to the repo, LocalOps pulls your code, builds it and deploys it within the environment/cluster. From today, if you have connected your slack workspace, you will also get a notification in slack as the deployment is in progress and when it completes.

No more peeking into any dashboard or console to check the status of your deployments! It will reach you right in your slack workspace.

Uptime alerts (coming soon):

Soon, we will ping your service health endpoints in regular (& meaningful) intervals, to check if they are up and available. And when those checks fail in a row we will alert on them as well in the same slack channel.
