How does pay-as-you-go pricing work?

You start for free and pay only for the compute and memory LocalOps manages in your own cloud account. The first 12 vCPU and 24 GB of RAM are free, forever. Beyond that you pay $10.5 / vCPU / month and $5.5 / GB / month — with unlimited users and every feature included.

Is there really a free tier?

Yes. Up to 12 vCPU and 24 GB RAM managed via LocalOps are free — that's roughly two environments (staging + production). No credit card required to start. You connect your own AWS, GCP or Azure account, so your only other cost is your underlying cloud usage.

Do I pay for cloud infrastructure separately?

Yes. LocalOps charges only for the resources it manages. Compute, network, storage and any managed services live on your AWS / GCP / Azure bill at standard cloud pricing. We never mark up cloud spend.

How is the resource usage measured?

LocalOps records the peak managed resources (vCPU and memory) per hour across all your projects and environments for the 720 hours in a month, sorts those readings, and takes the p95 as the capacity managed that month — so a few short spikes don't inflate your bill. We then charge for that p95 capacity, less the free tier. Use the calculator above to estimate your monthly platform fee.

Is there any lock-in?

No. Everything LocalOps creates — Kubernetes manifests, infrastructure, container images — lives in your cloud and can be exported or inspected. If you stop using LocalOps, your environments keep running on standard primitives.

What support is included, and what do the paid plans add?

Standard support is included on every account: 12-hour response time, developer docs, and email & chat support. Priority ($399 / month flat) adds a 4-hour response time and a dedicated Slack / MS Teams channel. VIP ($899 / month flat) adds a 15-minute response time, a dedicated contact and an SLA.

Can you manage our cloud accounts for us?

Yes. Beyond the platform, our team can help operate your cloud — from backing up your existing engineers to running cloud operations end to end. Talk to us about how we can collaborate: email sales@localops.co or book a sales call at cal.com/anand-localops/sales.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel any time from the console. Your services keep running on your cloud — there's no platform we shut down.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Credit card and invoice / wire transfer. Enterprise customers can use POs and standard procurement flows.
